Equipment pad
Equipment Repair and New Equipment
New pumps, new filters, full equipment sets and repairs on Pentair, Jandy and Hayward pads.
Chapter 01
Pumps that lose prime, run loud or weep at the seal
A pump that loses prime, runs louder than it used to, or leaks at the seal is telling you the pad needs attention. Lakeside repairs pumps and installs new ones, working with Pentair, Jandy and Hayward, for pools across Paradise Valley, Scottsdale and Carefree.
Because the weekly visit includes a check of the equipment for leaks and damage, a pump problem on a route pool is usually caught on the pad before it stops the water moving. One customer wrote that Tony "quickly identifies any potential issues."
If a pump is past repairing, a new pump goes in on the same pad. Ask for current pricing by phone, since parts and models change.

Filters: DE or cartridge, and what rising pressure means
Lakeside works on both DE and cartridge filters. Filter pressure is on the weekly checklist, and a gauge reading that keeps climbing between visits is the sign the filter needs cleaning, or that it is nearing replacement.
Most DE and cartridge filters should be cleaned twice a year. That is an additional charge, and it depends on the type and size of the filter, so a small cartridge and a large DE unit are not the same job.
When a filter is beyond cleaning, Lakeside installs new filters. The Pentair CCP420 cartridge filter is one Tony has posted on Instagram. Call for a current quote rather than counting on an older number.
Chapter 03
Full equipment sets, and the Friday night call
New equipment sets cover the whole pad: pump, filter and the plumbing between them, on Pentair, Jandy or Hayward gear. Automation and most pool lights are separate lines of work that tie into the same pad.
Steve Daniels signed up for service just before a breakdown and described "water spewing from the filter at 10p on a Friday. Tony called me late on a Friday, sourced a part locally, had the situation resolved by 9am the next morning."
